Lamb Jalfrezi
This is a delicious Indian curry that’s simple to make.
This is a weeknight favorite in our house. It’s quick to prepare and tastes amazing. Even our three year old loves it! We cut off just what we need for steaks and save the rest of the leg for a different meal.
While a rack of lamb is the most popular approach to cooking a loin, it’s not the only way. With a boneless loin, the rib meat will be wrapped around the loin, keeping it most and flavorful when roasting.
While some people like shoulder chops, I prefer my lamb shoulders whole and braised. The meat simply falls off the bones and is delicious. Create a simple rub with salt, pepper, rosemary, garlic powder, lemon juice, and olive oil. Then let the meat rest for at least 2 hours – overnight is even better. Braise…

Here’s the cuts we received, and some ideas I have for cooking them: Ground Lamb – lamb burgers, quail stuffed with lamb sausage, Shepherd’s Pie Boneless Neck – Red Wine Braised Lamb Neck Boneless Loin –…
Shepherd's Pie is one of my favorite comfort foods. To make it low-carb we replaced the potatoes with sweet potatoes (lower glycemic index) and added smoked paprika to complement it. This is the first time I remember our 3 year old asking for seconds! We're using chicken stock in this version, but it would also…
It doesn’t get much better than this. Garlic and rosemary always go well with lamb.
